Mississippi Mud Cake


Another typical deep American cake, Mississippi Mud Cake. A dessert recipe that I can assure you has absolutely no mud in it, but can make you think of it with the imagination.
An ideal fresh dessert to finish off a summer meal, always paired with a glass of American iced tea or a smoothie like apple-cranberry smoothie.

* Ingredients :

*  The cake :
☞   small spoon salt
☞  1 1/2 cups flour
☞  1 1/2 cups  chopped pecans
☞  1 (10 ounce) bag miniature marshmallows
☞ 1 cup of melted butter
☞  2 cups of sugar
☞ 1/2 cup  cocoa powder
☞  4  eggs
☞  1 small spoon  vanilla extract

* The chocolate frosting :
☞  1/4 cup butter softened
☞  1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa
☞  1 (15 oz) pck powdered sugar
☞  1/2 cup milk

* Methods :

- Preheat oven to 350° degrees . Beat  together melted butter & cups of sugar/ cup unsweetened cocoa powder/  eggs (lightly beaten)/ vanilla extract/ small spoon  salt.

- Add in flour and  pecans . Spread batter  into a greased and floured  a deep dish cookie sheet . Bake at 350° a degrees for 26 min

- Remove from oven; top warm cake equally with marshmallows.
 and bake more for 6 min. AND make Chocolate Frosting : ( Whisk in an electric mixer  all ingredients together until smooth.)
Spray chocolate Frosting over cake .
