Biscuits & Gravy casserole !

This casserole is very simple. Biscuits, then sauce, then cookies. I really liked the convenience of it all on one plate, which makes it perfect for customers on vacation.

° 2 Grand Biscuits cans

° Breakfast sausage roll 1 lb

° 3 tablespoons of flour

° 2 1/4 cup milk

° 1 teaspoon of black pepper

° 1 tablespoon of melted butter optional

* Instructions :

Preheat  oven to 400.

Grease the bottom and sides of a small (7-10 ) saucepan with shortening or cooking spray.

Cut a cookie pan into quarters and place it in the bottom of the prepared pan.

Bake for 10 minutes.

Crumble and cook the sausage in a large skillet over medium heat until cooked through.

Sprinkle the flour over the cooked sausage. Stirring and cooking until flour is immersed .

Add the milk, salt and pepper. Stirring until  blending thicken & begins to scald .

Join additional salt / pepper to flavor .

If sauce is too heavy, add up to 1/4 cup another milk.

Pour the sauce over the baked cookies.

Cut the rest of the cookies into quarters and place on the sauce.

Cook the pan for 10 minutes.

Cover the pot with foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes or until golden brown.

Optionally, you can brush the tops of the cookies with melted butter.
