SOUTHERN PECAN PRALINE SHEET CAKE

Excellent cake recipe! Yummy and moist...way too EASY and READY in no time! All my guests loved it and even I sold it to Tea Rooms!!

INGREDIENTS :

# Cake

- 1 box of butter pecan cake mix (Betty Crocker)
- 16 oz. can of Coconut Pecan Frosting (Betty Crocker)
- 4 large eggs
- 3/4 Cup of canola ( or coconut oil if you like it)
- 1 Cup water ( It's best to use half-and-half for increased flavor instead)
- 1/2 Cup of pecans, chopped

# Butter Pecan Glaze

- 14 oz. can sweetened condensed milk, sweetened
- 3 Tbs of butter
- 1/2 Cup of chopped pecans

Directions:

# Cake:

Preheat oven to 350°.
Using cooking spray, grease or spray a 9×13 baking dish.
Combine in a mixing bowl all the cake ingredients except for the chopped pecans and mix well.
Add chopped pecans, stirring well until combined.
Now, pour batter into prepared baking dish.
Bake until a toothpick inserted in center comes out clean, for about 40-50 minutes.

# Butter Pecan Glaze:

Melt in a small saucepan butter, over medium heat.
Add condensed milk and stir.
Then directly heat thouroughly and add chopped pecans.
Stir again until combined then remove from heat.
You'd better spoon sauce over individual slices of cake or spread over the entire cake (much easier).
