How to make croissant with butter, add it
to your favorite recipes
the ingredients :
Flour - two tablespoons
Butter at room temperature - a cup and a
half
Flour - 4 cups
Salt - half a teaspoon
Sugar - 3 tablespoons
Yeast - 2 envelopes
Warm water - a quarter of a cup
Milk - a cup
Whipped cream - half a cup
Eggs - 1
Water - a tablespoon
The method of work
1- Sprinkle the two tablespoons of flour on
the butter and rub the ingredients with your hands.
2- Spread the butter on parchment paper,
then fold the paper into a packet and place it in the refrigerator for about
two hours.
3- Mix two cups of flour, salt and sugar in
a large bowl.
4- Dissolve the yeast in warm water and
leave the mixture aside for 10 minutes.
5- Heat the milk and cream in a saucepan
over a stove.
6- Add the yeast mixture, milk and cream to
the flour mixture and mix the ingredients well.
7- Then add the remaining flour, each
quarter cup separately and knead until a soft dough forms.
8- Rub the dough well with your hands, then
put it in a covered bowl in the refrigerator for an hour.
9- Before starting work, take out the dough
and the butter mixture and leave them at room temperature.
10- Roll the dough into a 25cm wide square.
11- Put the butter square obliquely in the
center of the dough.
12- Fold each point of the dough to the
center of the butter square and close the ends well.
13- Roll the dough using a rolling pin,
starting from the center towards the outside in a rectangular shape.
14- Fold the dough in the middle twice
until you get a thick book shape, then put it in the refrigerator for two
hours.
15- Cut the dough into triangles, then roll
each triangle, starting from the wide end and reaching the other end, to get a
crescent shape.
16- Lay the croissant in a baking tray
prepared with parchment paper.
17- Beat the eggs and the spoon of water,
then spread the croissant with the mixture.
18- Bake the croissants in a preheated oven
for 25 minutes.
