FUNNEL CAKE BITES RECIPE

One of my best summertime snacks is funnel cakes. While we usually enjoy this tasty treat at our county fair, these funnel cake bits and our funnel cakes can easily be made at home! A delightful twist from our standard funnel cake recipe is these funnel cake bites.

INGREDIENTS:

- An egg.

- 2 C.Of milk.

- 2 C.Of flour.

- 1/2 C.Of Melted butter.

- 2 Tbsp.OF of Brown sugar.

- 2 Tsp.Of vanilla extract.

- 1 Tsp.Of baking soda.

- A pinch of sea salt.

THE METHOD:

- Step I- Mix the milk with an egg, vanilla extract, and melted butter together in a medium-size bowl.

- Step II- Then add the sugar, baking soda, and salt to the bowl.

Fold in the flour gently until the batter is smooth.

- Step III- Pour the mixture into a baggy gallon size Ziplock and put it aside for a few minutes.

- Step IV- In a frying pan, pour oil until it is approximately half an inch deep.

Switch the heat to high for about two minutes, then turn it down to medium heat.

- Step V- By dropping a small drop of batter into the oil,  check your oil. When it starts to show bubbles along the edges, it will be set. If not, turn it up a little bit again before it's hot and nice.

- Step VI- Take the scissors and cut a tiny hole in the baggie's bottom corner. Slowly drizzle the batter into  2 rings, then cook until the bottom half is golden brown.

- Step VII- With a slotted metal spatula, turn them over gently and cook again until the bottom half is golden brown.

- Step VIII-Sprinkle with powdered sugar and put on paper towels to drain the grease.

THEY ARE SIMPLE BITES THAT'S FRIED TO PERFECTION!!! ENJOY THEM!
