Since I was a kid, I eat stuffed cabbage, and I tried for a long time to produce a special recipe for Stuffed Cabbage Rolls. When I Serve them with a side dish of broccoli and mashed potatoes, everyone on the table can't resist them!!

This recipe for stuffed cabbage rolls is cabbage leaves filled with beef and rice, coated and cooked to perfection in a homemade tomato sauce. A staple of comfort food that's hearty, tasty, and easy to make.

  • The third head Of an -uncooked-cabbage.

  • A big can.Of diced tomatoes seasoned with herbs: basil, garlic, and oregano.

  • 1/2Lb/250g Of -uncooked-lean ground beef.

  • 1/2 C.Of -uncooked-white rice.

  • 1/2 quart.Of mineral water.

  • 1/4 C.Of seasoned breadcrumbs.

  • 1 grated carrot.

  • 1 finely chopped medium onion.

  • 1 minced garlic clove.

  • 1 large egg white.

  • 2 TSP.Of olive oil.

  • 1/2 TSP.Of Sea salt.

  • 1/4 TSP.Of Ground black pepper.

  • Step 1:In plastic wrap or moist paper towels, wrap the cabbage leaves and microwave on High for around 2 minutes, until tender. To make leaves pliable and quick to fold, cut off the thickest, the white part of the spine of each leaf.

  • Step 2:In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, rice, water, bread crumbs, grated carrot, chopped onion garlic, white egg, salt, and pepper, then mix well.

  • Step 3:Spoon about 1/4 cup of beef mixture onto each leaf's middle.

To cover the filling, fold the bottom of the leaf, tuck in the sides and then begin to roll to make loose rolls, it is necessary not to roll them too tightly.

  • Step 4:Heat oil over medium-high heat in a large stockpot; add rolls and saut√© on all sides until golden brown, turning regularly, for about 5 minutes.

  • Step 5:Add the can of tomatoes and get them to a boil. Reduce heat to a minimum, cover and cook until cooked through, check the pot every 15 minutes, and stir approximately 1 hour to avoid sticking.

You need to add more water if the sauce thickens.

These stuffed cabbage rolls might be a little more work than your regular meal, but the extra effort is definitely worth it! ENJOY IT!!!
